During this training, we focus not only on how to apply the product, but on understanding the all process, strong and well-balanced overlay.

→ correct nail preparation & russian manicure
→ product control and structure
→ building the apex in the right place
→ creating a slim but durable nail
→ clean application around the cuticle area
→ filing and refining the final shape

Watching these moments again made me realise how much I already miss this group 🥹🤍

Seven months together, lots of learning, stressful demonstrations, photoshoots, content, laughter and a few tears at the end. It was such a special, positively crazy group and I really think we’ll all come back to these memories with a smile 🤍

Today during training, I heard that yellow is one of the more difficult colours to apply 💛

And you know what? I agree… but it’s definitely not just yellow!

Pastel colours can be quite tricky to work with, especially those with a high amount of white pigment. Uneven application, streaks, patches… I think every nail tech has struggled with them at some point. Me too 🫣

But I have a few little tricks that make a BIG difference 👀

On Tuesday morning, I woke up and saw notifications from the cameras saying that someone had been in the salon during the night… I started watching the footage. Suddenly, my whole body started shaking. I felt this fear inside me that is honestly so difficult to describe. The whole thing lasted around 2.5 hours. I think it’s only when you actually see footage of a stranger walking into your salon, a place you created and work so hard for every single day, that you realise just how much someone has violated your sense of safety. I felt even more helpless because I wasn’t there and couldn’t just get in the car and go there straight away! Luckily, the person I can always count on was there and, without hesitation, went straight to the salon 🤍

Thankfully, it ended with “only” the glass in the front door being damaged. They didn’t find anything valuable at reception, and all the other doors in the salon are always locked. And I think what hurts me the most is realising how little some people respect what others spend months and years working for. You build something step by step, investing your time, money and so much hard work, and then someone simply walks into your life and, within a few moments, tries to take it away from you or destroy it🥺
