Some of our staff embracing culture week. Lots of our children are dressed up in traditional clothing and we've had some lovely items sent in to share from a variety of backgrounds. The children have been enjoying the national fruits of different countries to. We've had mamgo's, apples, strawberries and also some fabulous traditions shared through culture week. Thank you to everyone who has embraced and supported our themed week 😁

This week for culture week we have had some great activities. We have had themed tuff trays, flag painting and much more. Many of the children returned their sheets from home exploring family traditions. These have all been shared with the children in pre-school. From cultural clothing, cooking, dancing, dining, praying and much more, they have all been lovely to read and fantastic for the children to discover and embrace the cultures of their peers. Thank you to all that returned their child's culture sheet and have supported this theme.

Today's dinosaur swamp ready for action 🦖

Last week as part of occupations week, we were very lucky to have a visit from PC John and Nurse Nicole who spoke with the children about their roles. This was a great experience for the children and supports their learning around people and communities.

This week the children have been helping to make a vegetable soup with Kitchen Laura and sampling their hard work. This has been a lovely way for the children to gain knowledge around healthy eating. 🥕🥔🧅
