These puzzles and hidden codes are designed to help children aged 11–18 hone the skills they might one day need to become a spy...but we’ll be honest, the adults over here are scratching our heads!

The Christmas card was created by schoolchildren as well as spies, after hundreds of young people entered a national design competition! It features seven puzzles set by GCHQ’s in-house puzzlers, designed to test intuitive reasoning and lateral thinking.
