Our School Breakfast Club has been selected to take part in Tesco's in-store customer vote. If successful, the funding will help us continue providing healthy breakfasts to our pupils, ensuring every child has the best possible start to their school day.

The time has come say our final farewells and this chapter has come to an end.
For those who have not directly heard me say it , Official Woodlands Secondary School is a brilliant school, with amazing students, fantastic staff and supportive parents!
I have loved working here for the past 14 years, serving the community initially as Deputy Head and more recently as Headteacher.
In recent weeks I have been overwhelmed by people's generosity and kindness.. from students (past and present), staff, parents, governors and other professionals.
I have appreciated every kind word, hug, card, email and present.
I wish you all good things for the future.
Moving forward, the school is in very safe and capable hands, with Caroline and the team. I am sure it will go from strength to strength.

As we come to the end of our Leavers' Prom 2026 thank you posts, we would like to give our biggest and most heartfelt thank you to our long-standing supporters, Star Platforms in Luton. 💙✨

For the past year, Star Platforms have been incredible supporters of our school community. From helping with our previous Leavers' Prom, to supporting our Christmas Fair, and now once again making this year's prom such a success, their generosity has never wavered.

A very special thank you goes to Nichola, who has been an amazing source of support throughout. Her kindness, enthusiasm, and commitment to helping our students is truly appreciated, and we are so grateful for everything she and the team at Star Platforms have done.

Their incredibly generous cash donation helped fund the decorations, DJ, pizzas, and all of the finishing touches that transformed the venue into a truly magical place for our students to celebrate. Thanks to their support, our leavers enjoyed a memorable evening filled with laughter, friendship, and special moments that they will remember for years to come.

It has been an incredibly vibrant final few weeks for the WISERR department. Our students have represented the school brilliantly across a range of activities, including Sports Day, end-of-term trips, Prize Giving, pool party and an immersive Ancient Egyptian-themed RE Day.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all parents and carers for their continued support, which ensures these memorable events can take place.

3LS had an amazing time taking part in Sportsability at Biddenham School, Bedford on 06/07/26. The games were differentiated to meet the varying needs of the students’ abilities.

A big thank you to Kelly Rolfe and her team for organising a brilliant and fun day. Also, a big thank you to those students of Biddenham School for demonstrating each activity and encouraging the students in 3LS to do their very best.
