It's a new school year and the children in Year 3-6 had new Accelerated Reader UK targets for this half term...
And there was a new Star Reader bug to save too...
But, the question is... has the Evil Mr Booth returned for another school year? And, if he has, might this be the half-term when he is finally thwarted?
Well, there is only one way to find out...

Pirton Hill Art Gallery
Today, we welcomed parents, carers and invited guests from the community to our Art Gallery.
All children exhibited their work from our recent Art Day - where they used their art skills and creativity, plus learned some new skills and explored the style of a new artist...
It is clear that we have some very talented artists!

We are expecting our Year 6 children to get back from London at 6:45pm.
They have had an amazing day - seeing Westminster Abbey, Parliament Square, the Palace of Westminster, the Queen Elizabeth Tower and the London Eye (amongst other landmarks)...
And, of course, they have been into the Houses of Parliament- seeing the MPs debating (including Boris Johnson!), watching the Lords discuss a trade deal with Australia, spending time in Westminster Hall (where the Queen was laying in state) and talking to Sarah Owens MP - the MP for Luton North.
They have seen democracy in action and are now deciding whether to try and get ELECTED as an MP or SELECTED as a Lord / baroness ๐ค
