Summer Term
It has been a very busy term and the children have thoroughly enjoyed all the activities at pre-school.
They particularly enjoyed learning about the lifecycles of Butterflies and Chicks hatching from eggs. The children released the butterflies into the preschool garden and watched them fly away, waving goodbye as they went. The children also learned how to care for and look after the chicks by feeding them and ensuring they had clean bedding. This was a great learning experience for all.
In the lead up to the end of term we will be having a small preschool party on the last day Thursday 18th July and we return Tuesday 3rd September.
We would also like to wish all our school leavers all the best in their new schools. 🧑🎓
We hope you have a wonderful summer and look forward to seeing you all soon.

This week we have been exploring variety of maths activities based around our children’s interests and play.
They had been exploring colours, grouping them together and counting the objects and shapes. This activity also encourages the children’s fine motor skills.
The children were excited with this activity after reading the Elmer books series during our carpet sessions.
