Light-up bonnets, flashing bunny ears, LED decorations and other Easter novelties can be great fun. But these – and many cheap toys – are powered by button batteries that can badly hurt or kill a small child if swallowed.
So, if you buy button battery powered items, check the battery compartment is secured with a screw or similar fastener to prevent children gaining access. If it isn’t secure please keep it out of reach of children.

Button batteries can badly hurt or kill a small child. If they swallow one and it gets stuck in their food pipe it can burn through the tissue and cause life-altering injuries or death.
So, check for products with loose backs and button batteries that have dropped out.

The Red Kites had such a nice afternoon stroll around the park today. They were searching for clues of autumn and discovered: crunchy leaves changing colour & falling that were great for throwing and stomping on! Acorns with a nearby squirrel, berries, a red kite, an oddly pattered crow and toadstools. Everyone enjoyed the fresh air and adventure time!

🍁🍂🍁Autumn has arrived in the Wrens room. Last week the children began to enjoy…
*Spice painting
*Autumn tuff trays
*Zip lock bags with different textures inside
*’Thats not my…’ books and matching materials
And lots more🍁🍂
They will continue this theme for the next few weeks with different Autumn activities and crafts for the children to learn through repetition.
