Our Reception students have been engaged in a hands-on planting activity 🪴. The class carefully prepared soil, planted runner been seeds, and watered them as part of a learning experience. Students will observe the germination process over the coming days, either plans to take them home 🏠
This activity provides practical experience with plant growth and care.

What a special Friday we had! 🎉 Our nursery and reception friends became history makers for the day, celebrating VE Day with activities that brought this important occasion to life.

The children's hands were busy creating 🎨 beautiful flags and decorating biscuits with care and creativity. They practiced their cutting skills to craft impressive spitfires ✈️, and we even enjoyed a wonderful garden party lunch together 🍰

Beyond the fun and festivities, we took time for meaningful conversations 💭 about the war and why we remember this day. These young learners discovered that VE Day is about celebrating peace, courage, and the importance of coming together as a community.

It was lovely to see our little ones engage with history in such a joyful and thoughtful way! 🌟

What a fun day for Reception! 🦸‍♀️ 🦸‍♂️

Today we celebrated our superhero Day and the children had a blast 💥
They took part in a range of exciting activities, learning all about teamwork, kindness, and what it means to be a real-life hero.

It was wonderful to see their creativity, enthusiasm and amazing costumes throughout the Day!

Busy Bees in Reception! 🐝✨

We had an exciting day of learning and discovery! The children worked incredibly hard writing sentences to match pictures, showing fantastic effort and creativity with their literacy skills. ✏️📖

After their hard work, it was time for independent play. It was wonderful to watch them explore various activities, building their confidence, imagination, and social skills along the way. 🎨🧱

Well done, Reception! We are so proud of you. 🌟
