Year 3 children have been focusing on the story of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in English lessons. We invited Dawn in from ‘The Melting Pot’ to lead a chocolate workshop with the children. She taught us about the history of chocolate, where cocoa beans are grown and then helped us to create and decorate our own chocolate lollipops. We also designed our own chocolate bars and tasted six different types of chocolate. We all had a great afternoon!

Our fantastic plant sale raised an amazing £210, which will go towards a growing competition in Spring next year. The Year 6 helpers did a great job helping sell, and we were so lucky to have lots of parents supporting this event. We sold over 400 plants in 25 minutes! Thank you all for your support.
