โ๏ธ๐บ๏ธ Year 4 RE ๐บ๏ธโ๏ธ
This week, our Year 4 children have been learning about Abraham and how God chose him to become the father of many nations.
The children explored Abrahamโs journey by creating story maps, helping them to understand the important events in his life and the trust and faith he showed in Godโs plan. As they discovered that Abraham built an altar wherever he went to worship and give thanks to God, they then had the opportunity to create their own altars from clay. ๐บโจ
It was a wonderful way to bring Scripture to life through creativity, reflection and hands-on learning.

๐ฆ๐ Maths in the Sunshine! โ๏ธ๐งฎ
Who says maths has to stay in the classroom? Our Year 2 children took their learning outdoors this week to explore weight and capacity in a hands-on and exciting way!
Using jugs, containers and plenty of water, the children investigated full, empty, half full and different capacities while making predictions, measuring and comparing. It was a fantastic opportunity to bring their learning to life through practical activities.
As an added bonus, everyone stayed nice and cool while having lots of fun in the sunshine! โ๏ธ๐ง
