โœ๏ธ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Year 4 RE ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธโœ๏ธ

This week, our Year 4 children have been learning about Abraham and how God chose him to become the father of many nations.

The children explored Abrahamโ€™s journey by creating story maps, helping them to understand the important events in his life and the trust and faith he showed in Godโ€™s plan. As they discovered that Abraham built an altar wherever he went to worship and give thanks to God, they then had the opportunity to create their own altars from clay. ๐Ÿบโœจ

It was a wonderful way to bring Scripture to life through creativity, reflection and hands-on learning.

๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ“ Maths in the Sunshine! โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿงฎ

Who says maths has to stay in the classroom? Our Year 2 children took their learning outdoors this week to explore weight and capacity in a hands-on and exciting way!

Using jugs, containers and plenty of water, the children investigated full, empty, half full and different capacities while making predictions, measuring and comparing. It was a fantastic opportunity to bring their learning to life through practical activities.

As an added bonus, everyone stayed nice and cool while having lots of fun in the sunshine! โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ’ง

Learning is always at its best when itโ€™s active, engaging and full of smiles! ๐Ÿ’™

Every Monday, our KS1 and EYFS SEND children look forward to their sessions with and Mr Greene, who has been supporting them with a range of fun, active and engaging activities throughout the year.

This week, the focus was on healthy eating and keeping active! The children had a fantastic time preparing their own delicious fruit salad, learning about making healthy food choices and, of course, enjoying their tasty creations. ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ‡๐ŸŠ

The fun didnโ€™t stop there! They then put their energy to good use by tackling an exciting obstacle course, developing their building skills, hand-eye coordination and confidence while staying active. ๐ŸŒŸ

A huge thank you to Mr Greene and PhysicalEd+ for another brilliant session. We love seeing our children learning, moving and smiling every Monday! ๐Ÿ’™
