We are thrilled to announce that for the last school year, government attendance figures show that our attendance is the highest of the 46 primary schools in Luton!

These were the winners of the Class Star and Growth Mindset prizes for 2025-26.
The head pupils also got trophies and the Head Boy and Head Girl performed one last duty - a valedictory speech for their Year 6 peers. In their speech, they reflected on shared memories and highlights of their Someries days, and encouraged their classmates to embrace future challenges and pursue their goals!

Last day!!
We said a sad goodbye to these young people at the end of last term.
It was very emotional for all of us when they sang 'Drive Safely' in our final assembly, before they enjoyed time together signing shirts and autograph books.
We wish them all the best for their start to high school next week.

Our Year 6 children had a fantastic time on their recent trip to Orbital Jump Park! They threw themselves into every activity with enthusiasm, energy, and plenty of smiles. In fact, the only thing that could persuade them to stop jumping was lunchtime!

It was wonderful to see everyone having so much fun, supporting one another, and making lasting memories.

What a fantastic day we had at our annual School Sports Day! The sun was shining, the energy was electric, and our students showed incredible sportsmanship, determination, and team spirit.
Thank you all so much for coming out, cheering from the sidelines, and making the day so memorable for our school community.

We kicked off the summer holidays today with a fantastic family day out to Gulliverā€™s Land!
It was a brilliant day from start to finish. The rides, games, and sunshine made it truly memorable. Looking around, it was hard to tell who was having more fun, the children or the adults!
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. Hereā€™s to a wonderful summer ahead!

As Year 6 share their last moments together at Someries Junior School, we would like to celebrate with you their success in the KS2 SATs.
They achieved one of our best sets of results and, as you can see in the chart, they were above National averages in nearly all subjects and levels!
