*Masjid-e-Ali Madressa NEED staff*

As you may be are aware, we have been concerned for some time about the current state of the Masjid-e-Ali Madressa infrastructure and the challenges it faces. The shortage of suitable facilities, dedicated teaching and administrative support, and consistent parent engagement makes it increasingly difficult to provide the nurturing, inspiring, and effective learning environment that our children deserve.

Our Madressa plays a vital role in shaping the Islamic education, character, and future of our children. To strengthen and sustain this important work, we need greater support and commitment from our community. Addressing these challenges will require a collective effort, and we are therefore reaching out once again to ask whether you, or someone you know, may be willing to contribute your time, skills, and experience to help the Madressa grow and succeed.

We have attached a Madressa Roles document for your review and would be grateful if you could also share it with others who may be interested.

If you feel you can fulfil one of the roles outlined in the document, please complete the application form using the link below.

Likewise, if you know someone who would be a good fit for any of these positions, please feel free to forward this message to them.

If financial considerations or concerns about teaching capabilities are the only reasons you or someone else may be hesitant to take on one of these roles, please be assured that staff training will be provided, and we can explore appropriate compensation for the time involved.

Following the wonderful experience of the childrenโ€™s trip, the Masjid-e-Ali Madressa and Preschool academic year 2025/26 has now come to an end. We would like to sincerely thank you for your support in making this year successful for our children.

For our children to succeed in todayโ€™s challenges, they need the very best our community can offer. Running the Masjid-e-Ali Madressa requires commitment, discipline, leadership, and a strong understanding of our childrenโ€™s needs. While the role is demanding, the rewards are immense.

The community is invited to attend and celebrate the efforts made by our children in Masjid-e-Ali (as) Madressa over the last academic year.

Additionally, appreciation will be shown to all the volunteers that have contributed to the success of the Madressa over the last 5 years.

All students and parents must attend. All students *MUST* be in uniform

Inshallah the program will start at 10am sharp and will finish by 1pm.

*Sunday 31st May 2026 - Masjid-e-Ali (as) Madressa Sports Day*

Insha'Allah, this Sunday will be our Madressa Sports Day! A wonderful opportunity for the children to learn about teamwork, collaboration, and how such activities fit within the values of Islam. We believe participation is essential, so please ensure all students attend and join in the dayโ€™s events.

This year, we have planned special fun activities for our preschool students, so everyone can enjoy and benefit from the day. *The much-anticipated House awards will also be presented to the winning House this Sunday*

For those parents who wish to watch, kindly note that mothers are welcome to observe activities on the girls' side, while fathers may watch on the boys' side. We ask everyone to observe the dress code: comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity is required. Boys should wear full-length bottoms and tops that cover their shoulders, while sisters must be fully clothed with hijab. Parents attending are also requested to follow this dress code.

With plenty of physical activity planned, please make sure your child brings refreshments to enjoy during their break time, as Madressa staff will only be providing water for students.

Lastly, it's important that children arrive punctually *(9:45)* so we can start the events without delay and make the most of our day together. *Pick-up remains 13:45*

As you're aware, on Sunday , Masjid-e-Ali Madressa completed the end of year assessments.

For all students that were unable to attend on Sunday , we will be holding an additional assessment session this Thursday (21st May 2026) at 6pm above the sports hall.

*Sunday 10th May 2026 - Masjid-e-Ali Madressa final teaching week*

This Sunday will mark the final teaching week of the year.

Initially, we had planned to hold a Parents Day on this date, but in order to provide the children with additional revision sessions, we moved Parents Day earlier. If you have any concerns about your child or would like to discuss their progress, please let us know and we can arrange a parent-teacher meeting.

*Sunday 17th May 2026 - Masjid-e-Ali Madressa assessments*

Looking ahead, on Sunday 17th May, we will be conducting the end of year Madressa written assessments.

The paper will cover all four subjects: Akhlaq, Aqaid, Fiqh, and Tareekh. Insha'Allah, assessments will begin promptly at 10am and finish at 1.15pm. Children can be picked up at the usual time of 1.45pm.

Please ensure that your children arrive at Masjid-e-Ali by 9.45am and bring the correct writing equipment with them. Since the time for breaks may be limited, we ask that children have had their breakfast before arriving and bring a snack if needed.

For Class 7 students who have not yet completed their assessment, they will have the opportunity to do so on 17th May. Please note, there will be no Class 7 lessons this week.

As the coming Sunday falls within the Eid weekend, Masjid-e-Ali Madressa and Preโ€‘School will be closed. *Normal classes will resume after the Easter break on Sunday, 12th April.*

We encourage you to use this extended break to revise the Madressa syllabus with your children. If you require any assistance or guidance, please feel free to contact your childโ€™s teacher.
