🎓🔍 Exploring Forensic Science & Criminology! 🔍🎓
For the second year running, our Year 12 students had an unforgettable experience at the Forensic and Criminology Taster Day!
🕵️♂️ Students stepped into the shoes of forensic scientists, investigating a live crime scene and applying real forensic techniques—including using maggots to estimate a victim’s time of death. Talk about hands-on learning! 🐛
📚 They also attended a fascinating lecture on organised crime, diving deep into criminological theories and their real-world applications.
🏢 The day wrapped up with a campus tour, showcasing halls of residence, the expansive library, and what life could look like at university.
From start to finish, it was an immersive introduction to Higher Education, leaving our students inspired and excited for the future—plus, they got to take home a special goody bag!
