St Ronan's College Lurgan

The *LAST* Day of our St Ronan’s College GAA Summer Camp in Clann Eireann GAC had all the thrills, spills, tears and jubilation of an Irish GAA supercharged Championship Summer.

⛹️⛹️‍♀️ 12 Teams from the 4 corners of Ireland battled it out for 3 prestigious titles

- Cadbury Buttons Sam Maguire Cup

- Wine Gums Tailteann Cup

- The Haribo Plate

🤼‍♂️🏐 Battles there were aplenty across the 4 pitches but all matches were played in good spirit and camraderie

🏆🥇 And the winners........ ? Well that was each and every boy and girl who took part in our GAA Camp.

🤝🫶🙌...On offer over the 3 days wasn’t just silverware..... but opportunities to make new and lifelong friendships.

👍 We wish all of the boys and girls every success and blessing, as they start a new journey of learning in St Ronan’s College

St Ronan's College Celebrates Continued GCSE Success



There was a great sense of pride and celebration at St Ronan's College as Year 12 pupils received their GCSE results.



This year's outcomes represent a further improvement on last year's excellent performance, reflecting the dedication, resilience and hard work of pupils throughout their GCSE studies.

Acting Principal Mrs E Erskine praised the achievements of the Year 12 cohort and thanked everyone who had supported them on their journey.



"Today is a celebration of our young people and all that they have accomplished. We are delighted to see our pupils achieve such success and particularly pleased that this year's results build on the excellent standards already established within the College.



Behind every result is a story of commitment, perseverance and support. I would like to congratulate our pupils for all they have achieved and thank our parents and carers for the vital role they play in supporting learning and encouraging our young people to fulfil their potential.



I also wish to acknowledge the dedication of our teaching and support staff whose encouragement, expertise and care help create the conditions for success every day.



We are incredibly fortunate to have outstanding facilities and to educate our young people in a state-of-the-art campus that represents a significant investment in education for our community. The opportunities available to our pupils through these exceptional facilities are something we never take for granted. However, a building alone does not create success. It is the dedication, expertise and care of our staff, together with the commitment of our pupils and the support of their families, that make St Ronan's College such a special place to learn and grow.



We are privileged to have facilities that match our ambitions for our pupils, but it is the people within them who create the culture, relationships and opportunities that enable young people to succeed.

These results reflect the strength of our school community and the high aspirations we have for every pupil. We look forward to supporting many of these young people as they continue their educational journey with us and wish all our students every success in the future."



Mrs Erskine also acknowledged the important contribution of the College's partner primary schools in helping to lay the foundations for pupils' achievements.

Smiling faces as our students received their GCSE results yesterday!

We had a very special guest for the entirety of Day 2️⃣ of the St Ronjan’s College 3-Day GAA Camp.

🏆 🔭There haven’t been too many sightings of him around Armagh these past 18 years !!!

⛹️ Until Aidan Forker and Aaron McKay lifted him aloft in Clones in May..... Ulster Senior Football Champions 2026.

🏆 His name........ The Anglo Celt Cup of course!!!

🤩🥳👏 The Cup was very well received in Clann Eireann GAC by all the boys and girls taking part in our St Ronan’s GAA Camp

We asked the Anglo Celt if he could come back next year too.....
