A narrow 1 point defeat today against a very good St. Patrick’s Armagh side. Two very well matched teams with end to end football and scores. Super proud of our girls… their football and their conduct both on and off the pitch.

It’s been a busy week in front of the St Francis’ Shield celebrating our . Lots of clubs have had prizegiving events and others have competed successfully in their chosen sport or artistic endeavour.

Sparklers might appear to be harmless but they can cause serious injury as they burn at very high temperatures. Follow our advice to use sparklers safely:

🎇Light one sparkler at a time at arm’s length wearing gloves
🎇When it’s burnt out, put the hot end in a bucket of cold water
🎇Supervise children and never give sparklers to children under 5.

Congratulations to all of our pupils who competed in the Flahavan’s Schools Cross Country race on Friday. Despite the very cold and blustery conditions, we came away with 3 medals & a lot of points on the board for the season ahead. One child even finished the race with only one boot! Well done everyone!
