We are looking forward to welcoming back our P2–P7 students this Thursday for the start of the new school year! We hope you all had a fantastic, restful summer break and are ready for another year full of learning, friendship, and fun.

📌Please be mindful that Thursday and Friday are two half days for all P2–P7 students. School will finish early at 12:00 pm on both days. Also please note that no school lunches will be served this week. Students should bring a small snack for morning break.

We are also incredibly excited to be welcoming our new Primary 1 and Nursery children over the coming days and weeks! We know this is a huge milestone, and we cannot wait to see them settle into our school community.

📌Parents can find all of their children’s specific starting dates, times, and transition information in the packs previously provided.

Key Information for Thursday Morning-

✔️Start Time: School begins promptly at 8:50 am.
✔️Line Up: Older Students should line up at the gate and head to their new classes once the gates open at 8:50am.
✔️Uniforms: Please arrive in full school uniform, looking smart and ready to learn.
✔️Essentials: Remember to bring a filled water bottle and a waterproof coat for break times.

Quick Checklist for Parents-

✔️Labels: Please double-check that all jumpers, jackets, and water bottles are clearly labelled with your child's name.
✔️Forms: Return any outstanding medical or contact information forms to the main office.
✔️App Updates: Ensure your school communication app is updated so you don't miss our updates.

This year's winner embodies all of these qualities. He is kind, hard working and well mannered. He has an incredible passion and dedication for the arts. An all round lovely young man to spend time with.

🚴 Cycling Adventure at Castlewellan Forest Park 🚴

Thanks to the generous support of the Goodyear Community Fund, FOSPA were delighted to take over 30 boys & girls to Castlewellan Forest Park for a fantastic cycling experience.

This opportunity provided the boys & girls with valuable cycling skills, confidence-building, and essential safety training in a fun and supportive environment.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the day possible:

* FOSPA for organising the event and securing the funding for this essential training

Everyone received a cycling goody bag containing:
🚲 A high-visibility lightweight backpack to carry essential items while helping riders stay visible.

💧 A reusable water bottle to encourage hydration during every ride.

🔒 A bike lock to promote cycling more often by making it easier and safer to leave bikes securely.

We were incredibly proud of the excellent behaviour, enthusiasm, and positive attitude shown by all the boys and girls throughout the day.

We now look forward to seeing them put their new skills into practice, enjoying their bikes safely both on and off the roads, and making cycling a regular, healthy, and enjoyable part of their lives.

❤️ AN INCREDIBLE £1,160 RAISED FOR HUNTER! ❤️

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our recent World Cup fundraiser raised a grand total of £1,160.

This amazing amount has now been handed over to Hunter's family. Every single penny will go directly towards their fundraising efforts to help Hunter and two other children get life-changing bionic arms.

A massive, heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out, took part, donated, and showed support. Your incredible generosity is making a real difference in these children's lives! 🌟
