World Downs Syndrome day was celebrated during Lent.

As we were already supporting Trocaire, we did not celebrate on the day.

However, as we draw to the end of our school year, we want to acknowledge and celebrate World Downs Syndrome Day.

On Friday 26th June, we will have a non-uniform day. All children are asked to wear their own clothes and bring in £1.

All money collected will be donated to the Downs and Proud charity.

Thank you for your continued support.

What a brilliant morning Primary 7s had last Friday at the Colour Run in People’s Park, Portadown as part of the Shared Education programme along with Millington PS. Exercising, dancing and running with a difference!

A huge thanks to Healthy Kidz for delivering the activities.

St Anthony's Superstars.

During the final week of term, we will be holding a School Uniform Swap to support families as they prepare for the new school year.

We would be very grateful if parents of P7 pupils, as well as any other families with school uniforms that their children have outgrown, could donate any unwanted items to the school during the week beginning 15th June.

The Uniform Swap will then take place during the week beginning 22nd June. Parents and carers will be welcome to visit the school staff room to collect uniform items free of charge between 2.00 pm and 4.00 pm.

There is no cost for taking part in the swap. Any uniforms remaining after the event will be donated to St. Vincent de Paul Society, where families may still be able to access items if required.

Thank you for your support and generosity.

St. Anthony’s Cup Brings the Gaelic Season to a Thrilling Conclusion
Last week marked the final session of the P6 and P7 Gaelic season, with the boys once again competing for the prestigious St. Anthony’s Cup.

Armagh, Dublin and Kerry all contested the finals day after a series of closely contested group matches. Following some excellent football throughout the competition, Dublin and Kerry earned their places in the final.

The decider was a fitting end to a fantastic season. Dublin, who had gone unbeaten throughout the group stages, edged in front with just a minute remaining. However, Kerry showed tremendous determination and composure, snatching the lead in the closing moments to secure a dramatic victory and lift the cup.

It was a brilliant conclusion to a year in which the boys made huge strides, reaching a number of finals and semi-finals and continually improving through their commitment to training and matches.

Ian, Eggy and Mr McCavigan could not be prouder of the effort, dedication and enthusiasm shown by all the boys throughout the season.

Congratulations to the Kerry team on their St. Anthony’s Cup success.

On behalf of all the coaches, we would also like to offer a special word of thanks to our Primary Seven boys. Your hard work, commitment and positive attitude have been outstanding all year. We wish you every success as you move on to secondary school and look forward to seeing how you continue to develop both on and off the pitch in the years ahead.

Thank you, and good luck to all of our Primary Seven boys as they move on.

Up the SAPS! 🟦⬜️
