Whilst Lurgan College and Craigavon Senior High School are our main partner schools, we would like to wish all of our past pupils receiving their GCSE results today the very best.

A huge congratulations to Year 10 pupil Hannah C, who achieved an outstanding 2nd place in the Drum Major Junior Grade at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow on Saturday.

This was Hannah’s first time competing at The Worlds, making this fantastic achievement all the more impressive. What a brilliant result and a wonderful recognition of her hard work.

Hannah is a member of The County Armagh Drum Majors, where she trains under the tuition of Andrea Gibson.

We are incredibly proud of Hannah and wish her every success as she continues her Drum Major journey!

Congratulations to all of our past pupils who received their AS and A2 Level results on Thursday.

It is always a proud moment to see former pupils reach another important milestone in their education.

As an 11–14 school, we feel privileged to have supported, encouraged and challenged our pupils during the early years of their post-primary education, helping to build the foundations for the years that follow.

We also extend our congratulations to our colleagues at Lurgan College, our main Key Stage 5 partner school, on the excellent results achieved by their pupils. We greatly value the strong partnership between our two schools.

We wish all of our past pupils every success as they take their next steps, whether continuing their studies or moving on to new opportunities beyond school.

We are incredibly proud of Eli on his fantastic achievement in winning the SuperCupNI at Minor Boys level with Linfield last week.

To reach the top in such a prestigious tournament takes talent and hard work and this is a richly deserved success. Just as importantly, Eli has shown real strength of character and resilience throughout the last few weeks – qualities that make us every bit as proud as his achievements on the pitch.

We can’t wait to welcome Eli back to school later this month and celebrate this brilliant accomplishment with him.

Congratulations to our former Head Boy, Theo M, on his fantastic achievement of representing the Ulster Schools U16 training squad throughout the summer.

Theo was selected to play in Ulster’s recent victory against Munster. This is a fitting reward for all the hard work and dedication he has shown.

Well done, Theo and we wish you every success as your rugby journey continues!

Our Pre-Loved Uniform Sale will take place from 1.00pm to 4.00pm on 11th, 12th and 13th August in Mr Guy’s Gym. Access to the gym will be via Millennium Way—simply follow the signs on arrival. Please remember that this is a cash-only sale.

We encourage Year 8 parents/guardians to check our social media platforms and Year 9 and Year 10 parents/guardians to check the SIMS Parent App for details regarding P.E. kit provision for the upcoming academic year.

If you have any good-quality uniform items that you would like to donate to the sale, these can still be left at the Front Office. All donations are greatly appreciated and thank you for your continued generosity.
