Huge congratulations to Nathaniel, Esmee, Ava, Noah, Sophie, Aimee, Leigh and Isaac of King's Park Primary School who received awards for their endeavours in The Lurgan Show 🌟

A huge THANK YOU once again to our incredible community! ❤️ We were thrilled to be able to present some of our final donations to charity representatives who were able to come to school and tell us about the wonderful things our donations will go towards. 🐕🐈🐇🍌🍊🍓🥒🥧

We are delighted to share that we donated:

Congratulations to the P6 football team on finishing top of their group and reaching the overall final! ⚽✨

An end-to-end spectacle was decided by an unfortunate golden goal, Mr Shields was full of praise for their performance. The future is bright for this talented group of players! ⚽🥅🌟

⚽️ Girls Football- NI Runners-Up! ⚽️

Congratulations to the girls’ 5-a-side football team, who finished 2nd in the NI Finals, losing just one match throughout the competition. 🌟

The girls have now qualified for this year’s 7-a-side Finals at Allen Park, Antrim, on Monday. Good luck, girls! 🍀

We are absolutely delighted to share that, thanks to the generosity of our pupils, families and staff, we were able to present a cheque for £2,000 to REACH and £1,800 to K9 Search and Rescue 🐕❤️

These incredible charities make a real difference to the lives of so many people in our communities, and we are immensely proud to support the amazing work they do! 😊

✨🕷 Wee Critters visit Primary 1 🕷✨

What an amazing day for our Primary 1 children this week! We were delighted to welcome 'Wee Critters' to our school for a fantastic hands-on learning experience. 🌟

Our pupils had the opportunity to meet and learn about a wonderful variety of creatures including insects, a toad, a cockroach, tarantula, armadillo and much more! 🐸🕷
The children showed great curiosity, bravery and kindness as they explored the animal kingdom up close, asking thoughtful questions and discovering fascinating facts about each creature. 🌎💚

A huge thank you to 'Wee Critters' for providing such an engaging and valuable learning experience. It was filled with excitement, discovery and smiles all round! 😊

🏅☀Sports Day Success! ☀🏅

What a fantastic few days of fun, teamwork and sporting success for our Schools Sports Days! ✨ A huge congratulations to all children who took part and to parents who turned up to support. Every pupil showed enthusiasm, determination and sportsmanship throughout our events! 🎉🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

⚽️ Girls Football ⚽️

A fantastic afternoon of football took place last week as our neighbours from Waringstown brought two teams across to take on our three girls’ teams. ⚽️🥅

The girls put in some excellent performances, showing great skill, teamwork and determination throughout the day. 🙌🏼 Congratulations to all of the players who represented the school so well, with special mention to our A and B teams, who were undefeated. 🌟

A sincere thank you to Phil McKinley from Lurgan Town for his assistance on the day, which was greatly appreciated. 🌟⚽️

🌟 Success for King's Park pupil Mason! 🌟

We are incredibly proud of our Primary 7 pupil, Mason Shields who has once again been asked to represent Team Ireland at the upcoming Junior Worlds Championships at Jinin in the Czech Republic! 🏍

The event takes place on the 4th & 5th of July 2026. Mason has enjoyed a very successful campaign so far in 2026, leading the Ulster Championship at home, winning 6 out of the 8 races to date and lying 2nd in the Irish Championship. In England he is lying 9th overall at Top British level MXGB.

We wish him huge congratulations on this achievement and the very best of luck for the Junior World Championships in July! We are so proud of you Mason! 🏍✨
