A wheelbarrow of gratitude from our amazing families as we close for the summer break. The pleasure has been all ours…
We watched them totter, small and new, wide-eyed at worlds of morning dew.
Unsure of mud, unsure of rain, but now they run to greet it again.
We held their hands through storms and stings, through muddy trails and tiny things.
We taught them kindness, taught them care, taught them to notice that someone’s there.
But most of what they came to know, was how to trust, and how to grow.
To climb a little higher still, to find their voice and find their will.
And now the summer light grows long, each child has found their own small song.
No longer clinging, no longer shy,
They spread their wings, prepared to fly.
To every parent, every home, who let us share what’s truly your own.
Your most precious and dearest bundle, placed in our hands — entrusted, we’re humbled.
Thank you for the trust you gave, for letting us walk alongside, so brave.
Enough to wonder, to explore, we learned as much as they did, probably more!
The cards, the words, the gifts you bring, the hugs that hold onto everything.
We didn’t expect to feel so blessed, by muddy hands and hearts confessed.
It’s been a privilege, plain and true, to grow alongside all of you.
Go well, small ones, the sky’s not far, you know now just how bright you are.
Good luck at school our Little Grubs! ❤️🐛
