Kindergarten caring for children 9 months to 5 years. , Holiday Club and Before and After School Club We are open Monday to Friday from
7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

We offer a Before and After school club for5 - 11 year old co-ordinating with St Laurence primary school. We walk children to school a 8:55 and collect at 3:30. This is carried out by qualified members of staff . We are also registered as part of the
government nursery funding, for 3 or 4 year olds which allows 15 hours per week free of charge. In 2019 we opened our Upstairs Environment for c

hildren aged 9 months - 2 years old. Well qualified, caring members take great care of our young children in a perfectly designed environment for that age range.

This morning Emily, Kaylee and the children have enjoyed picking some of our yummy fruit and vegetables out of the garden. We can’t wait to try the strawberries at snack time. 🍓🥕☀️

The last couple of weeks the children have really enjoyed playing with a variety of different tuff tray/table top scenarios. We have had a farmyard, seaside and a lovely car table. Watch this space for more fab ideas.

What a busy day we have had today.

The children have enjoyed playing in our themed tuff tray. They have been pretending to feed the animals with the different food and scooping all the different textured grains.

We have also been dancing with Insteps Dance Academy. We have been twirling around with the rainbow ribbons and balancing on the beam.

A busy week so far at Busy Bodies. On Tuesday we made some yummy biscuits with Jade. We have also had lots of fun outside and a few of the children have noticed lots of our flowers and vegetables growing. The children helped to dig out the potatoes and pull some more radishes. We also talked about what different colour flowers we could see. 🌻

Today Emily and the children have enjoyed working together as a team to make chocolate cake and a traditional school cake. 🍰

☔️🌧️ Rainy Day activities 🌧️☔️

The rain has defiantly not stopped our play. We have been super busy playing with the oats and flour, sand, painting and even bubbles.

The children have really enjoyed feeling the different textures from the oats and flour. They have used spoons and their hands to fill up the different containers.

We had a dinosaur kingdom in the sand. They stomped all over the sand leaving lots of dinosaur footprints.

The children did some lovely free play painting. They used the different colours and was able to stick some colorful sequins and feathers.

While playing outside the children have noticed that we have some strawberries growing. They are excited to see how big they will grow too.

A lovely sunny week and the children have really enjoyed exploring all the different sensory trays outside. They have showed good concentration and skills chopping their own fruit for snack time.
Over the next few weeks we are going to introduce more sensory play and explore all different textures.

This week the children have been busy outside in the garden. They have been pulling up the radishes as well as painting some beautiful butterfly paintings.

The children have really enjoyed playing with the water and making lots of marks out on the floor.

The children have had a busy day today playing outside. We worked well as a team and made an obstacle course together they did some really good balancing and helped each other across the wobbly bridge. While we were looking for different resources to make our obstacle course some of the children noticed that one of our butterfly's that we released landed on one of the flowers.

This week there has been lots of excited children talking about the fair coming to town. Yesterday, the children talked together about the different things at the fair and come up with the idea to make a ‘ice cream stall’

This morning, they have worked together with the help of Kaylee to set up a stall. They have all different flavours which they chose themselves. They worked well together, listening to each other and taking turns.

We can’t wait to see what stall comes next.
