🇪🇸 Un momento de reflexión 💭

Aprender un idioma en solitario tiene un límite.

Puedes aprender vocabulario.
Puedes entender textos.
Puedes incluso seguir una conversación…

Pero cuando llega el momento de hablar, algo falla. Si no has practicado dudas.

Te bloqueas.

Traduces en tu cabeza.

O simplemente no te sale.

Y no es porque no tengas nivel.

Es porque te falta algo que no se puede practicar en solitario.

Hablar con alguien. Escuchar cómo responde. Adaptarte.

Equivocarte… y seguir.

Porque el idioma no ocurre en tu cabeza.

Ocurre entre personas.

Y cuando aprendes solo, todo eso desaparece.

No hay interacción.
No hay ritmo real.
No hay nadie al otro lado.

Por eso mucha gente entiende bastante…, pero no termina de hablar.

Ahora bien.

Aquí viene la otra parte importante.

Aprender con otras personas ayuda.

Pero no cualquier grupo funciona.

Y eso marca toda la diferencia.

*Estoy muy orgullosa tener dos grupos; uno para principiantes y el otro del nivel intermedio aquí en Ludlow.*

Learning a language on your own has its limits.

You can learn vocabulary.
You can understand texts.
You can even follow a conversation…

But when it comes time to speak, something goes wrong. If you haven’t practiced, you hesitate.

You freeze.

You translate in your head.

Or it simply doesn’t come out.

And it’s not because you lack the level.

It’s because you’re missing something that can’t be practiced alone.

Talking to someone. Hearing how they respond. Adapting.

Making mistakes… and continuing.

Because the language doesn’t happen in your head.

It happens between people.

And when you learn alone, all of that disappears.

There’s no interaction.
There’s no real rhythm.
There’s no one on the other side.

That’s why many people understand quite a lot…, but don’t quite manage to speak.

Now then.

Here comes the other important part.

Learning with other people helps.

But not just any group works.

And that makes all the difference.
