All are welcome to attend on Tuesday 25th August, 12pm–2pm for a fun-filled afternoon, ready for the new school year!

🎒 Back to School Event – Everyone Welcome! 🌞

Join us at St Mark’s Church on Tuesday 25th August, 12pm–2pm for a fun-filled afternoon as we get ready for the new school year!

Enjoy creative activities, games, music, a Bible Trail, BBQ, ice lollies, and our Pencil Case Trail, where children can collect prizes along the way.

We’ll also be taking a few moments to pray for and bless the children and young people as they prepare to head back to school.

It’s free, everyone’s welcome, and we’d love to see you there! 🎒🎉📚

🎍🪴Final Gardening Club Session🎍🪴

On Tuesday this week, to celebrate our last session together, we spent the afternoon at the Nature Garden. The children enjoyed snacks, listened to stories, and took part in a fun game of Play Your Cards Right.

It was a fantastic way to finish the club and reflect on all the hard work the team have put in, the new gardening skills they have learnt and the new friendships and memories we have made throughout the year. 🌱🍓📖

🌟 Enterprise Week Profit Class Treats! 🌟

A huge well done to all of our pupils for their hard work and entrepreneurial spirit during Enterprise Week! Thanks to their fantastic efforts, each class earned profits and got to choose a special treat to enjoy. Here’s how they decided to spend their rewards:

🍦 EYFS transformed their classroom into their very own ice cream parlour and had great fun decorating delicious ice creams!

⛺ Year 1 enjoyed an exciting play session with pop-up tents, tunnels and ball pits.

🍨💦 Year 2 treated themselves to ice cream sundaes followed by a fun-filled water fight!

🎈 Year 3 took part in an epic water balloon battle and had a fantastic time getting soaked!

🍩🍨 Year 4 chose tasty ice cream sundaes with donuts – a perfect combination!

🔫🍬🎬 Year 5 enjoyed a water fight with water pistols, followed by sweet treats and a film.

🎉 Year 6 celebrated with some good old-fashioned party games and plenty of fun with friends.

We are so proud of all of our children for their creativity, teamwork and determination throughout Enterprise Week. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the rewards of their hard work! ⭐

🎂🍰 Poplars Bake Off 2026 🍰🎂

Poplars Bake Off 2026 was another huge success! We received some absolutely fabulous entries, which made choosing the winners incredibly difficult. The creativity, effort and baking talent on display were truly amazing.

After much deliberation, we were able to select a winner and three runners-up from each phase, as well as an overall champion.

As we come to the end of another fantastic school year, we want to take a moment to celebrate something that makes Poplars truly special – our incredible community. 💛

To our wonderful children, thank you for filling our classrooms with curiosity, laughter, kindness and determination. You make us proud every single day, and it has been a privilege to watch you learn, grow and achieve so much this year. 🌈

To our parents and carers, thank you for your continued support, encouragement and partnership. Whether you've attended school events, cheered from the sidelines at Sports Day, supported learning at home, or simply trusted us with your child's education each day, you have played such an important part in making this year a success. 🤝

To our amazing staff, thank you for your unwavering dedication, passion and care. Every opportunity, every experience and every success our children have enjoyed this year has been made possible because of your commitment to giving every child the very best. ✨

🎉 Year 6 Activities Week – Day 4! 🎉

Today our Year 6 pupils headed to Waterlane for an exciting Inflatable Pool Party! 🏊‍♂️💦

The pool was filled with laughter, smiles and plenty of energetic fun as the children bounced, splashed and tackled the inflatable course with great enthusiasm. It was wonderful to see everyone encouraging one another and making the most of this fantastic experience.💙💛

A great time was had by all, and there are certainly some tired (but happy!) children heading home this evening! 😊
