Congratulations to our pupils who took part in the junior Lowestoft Scores race yesterday - Tom Barber taking first place in 8:15 and followed in with some of our keen runners Harley, Jack, Theo and Amelie.

Celebrating Success

At the end of another fantastic academic year, Mrs Burton and Mrs Spall were delighted to recognise a number of our Year 8 scholars who made exceptional progress throughout the year.
These scholars were selected to attend our Year 8 End of Term Celebration Event in recognition of their excellent progress, significant improvement since Year 7, and the increased achievement awards they have earned along the way. Their hard work, positive attitude, resilience, and commitment to learning truly stood out, and we are incredibly proud of all they have achieved. 👏

And just like that... today the set came down, Audrey II was packed away, and another Britten Theatre production came to an end. 🌱

What a privilege it has been to watch this incredible company bring Little Shop of Horrors to life.

The performances have been outstanding, but what makes us proudest isn't just what happened on stage. It's the commitment, the friendships, the confidence that's grown and the memories you've created together.

To every student who gave your time, energy and heart to this production... thank you. You have created something truly special, and we couldn't be prouder of every single one of you.

To our families and supporters, thank you for every lift, every costume, every late pick-up and every round of applause. Productions like this simply wouldn't happen without you.

To our Year 11 students... thank you for everything you've brought to our department. We'll miss you enormously, but once you're part of the Performing Arts family, you never really leave.

Have the most wonderful summer holidays. Thank you for making this theatre such a special place to be.

Over the last three weeks of term, we have been running our Attendance Raffle to recognise and reward students who have shown strong attendance and commitment to their education.

We would like to say a huge well done to all of our students who made the effort to be in school, engage in their learning and finish the year positively. Your dedication has been fantastic, and you should be proud of your achievements.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to our parents, carers and families. Your support in encouraging regular attendance and helping students get to school each day makes a real difference and is greatly appreciated.

Celebrating Success

We are pleased to share that Year 10 scholar Aidan Blowers has recently been awarded his Gold Scout award.

For this award, he had to achieve all scout challenge badges, undergo community work, plan his own expedition, including equipment and food and then undertake an expedition with a team of friends on their own and with minimal contact with the Scouting team. With all this being achieved he was awarded his Gold Scout Award.

He is now working towards his Silver Duke Of Edinburgh award with the Lowestoft Explorer group and will be doing his expedition next month in Derbyshire. Again, he has been with a small group of friends working out routes and planning meals etc. between campsites.
