⭐ HOLIDAY CLUB ⭐

Did you know that we at Scribbles have a holiday club for children aged 4-9 in the school holidays? Our Holiday Club's are available at 3 of our different settings, offering fun activities in a fun and safe environment!

Where are our Holiday Club's based?
- England's Lane, based in Gorleston-on-Sea.
- The Cove, based on Beacon Park in Gorleston-on-Sea.
- Seashore, based in Lowestoft.

Our next Holiday Clubs dates are Monday, the 20th of July until Tuesday, 2nd of September. Please note all settings are closed for the Summer Bank Holiday in August!

Jelly Tots have been focusing on the Jack and the beanstalk story this week. They have been discussing the different sizes, colours and textures of each different type of bean. The children used their counting skills when opening the beans to see how many are inside. The children enjoyed reading the story together and discussing all the different characters. 🦆 Today our Early Years children had the exciting opportunity to meet some very special visitors — chicks and ducks! 🐥

The children were fascinated watching them move, listening to their sounds and carefully observing their features. They were encouraged to ask questions, share their ideas and talk about how the texture of their feathers 🪶

Hands-on experiences like this provide such valuable learning opportunities, helping children to develop curiosity, confidence, communication skills and respect for living things. They also support understanding of the world in a fun and memorable way.

There were lots of smiles, gentle touches and wonderful conversations along the way! 🥰🐥🦆

If your child has a working parent funding code, you MUST renew this code via your Childcare account every 90 days - failure to renew your code can result in your code not being valid for the upcoming term!

Any new funding for the upcoming term starting in September 2026 must be applied for by 31.08.26, any funding applications after this date will not be eligible until the September 2026 term.

We had a fun packed morning!😊

Some of our children took a ride in our bus down to Sparrows Nest! ☀️

We collected sticks to use back at the Nursery, put up a sign for our Summer Fete this Saturday and spotted the squirrels! 🐿️🪾

On our way back the children bought some books for the Nursery and sung all different songs, including baby shark!🦈📚🎶

⭐ WE’RE HIRING! ⭐

We are hiring due to expansion at our England's Lane site! We are looking for 2x passionate Qualified Nursery Nurses (Level 2 or 3) to work 30 or 35 hours per week, in a full-time and permanent role either year round, or term-time only . The nursery is open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm - 51 weeks per year (excluding bank holidays) and you will be expected to work Monday to Friday on a shift basis. Scribbles Day Nursery offers career progression opportunities in the childcare sector, training, and more - term-time only contracts are also considered!
