We’ve just opened the window for work experience applications and if you are interested in completing some work experience at our hospital between Monday 17th August and Monday 2nd November 2026 we’re urging you to apply as soon as possible.
We always have high demand for placements when they are offered and applications are dealt with on a first come first served basis.
Placements are available on weekdays, including academic breaks e.g. half terms and summer holidays. Individuals aged 16 or over can undertake a clinical placement and are permitted to undertake clinical experience / observation in most areas, however additional age restrictions apply to certain placements, including our Emergency Department, where you must be 17 plus.
