As a member of Rainbow Day Nursery, we will ensure your child will be given the opportunity to flourish in a safe and stimulating environment, and be given generous care and attention. We aim to work in partnership with all parents, actively helping children to learn and develop and adding to the life and well-being of our local community. As a member of Rainbow Day Nursery, your child is in a safe and stimulating environment and is given generous care and attention due to our high ratio of adults to children. Children have the opportunity to join in with other children and adults to live, play, work and learn together. We employ a well-qualified and experienced staff team, with all our Nursery practitoners being qualified to level 3. Several of our staff hold a degree in Children’s Care, Learning and Development or are working towards this. You and your child will have a keyperson, who you will build a close bond with and who will be there to ease your child’s transition into nursery. You child’s key person will observe them at play and record their progress in their Learning Journeys. They will plan for your child’s next steps in learning to help them progress and reach their full potential. You can be confident that here at Rainbow Day Nursery your child will receive a quality experience that supports their individual needs and interests. On Wednesday we had our Outdoor Explorers Parent Share Session, and it was wonderful to see so many parents come along and join us! 🌿

We had fun ! Played group game of Duck, Duck, Goose, which everyone really enjoyed. The children also got creative painting their own bird houses, and they were very excited to show their parents around our field and outdoor learning space.

Thank you to all the parents who came to share this special time with us. It was lovely to see the children proudly showing what they do during their Outdoor Explorers sessions! 😊

🌱 Exciting News from Outdoors Explorers! 🌿

Over the past few weeks, the Outdoors Explorers group has been busy working on our allotment area. The young people have been helping to clear the space, prepare the soil, and start turning it into a place where we can grow fruit, vegetables, and plants together. It’s been great seeing everyone getting involved, learning new skills, and spending time outdoors. 🌼

To help us bring the allotment to life, we would really appreciate any donations from the community. If anyone has spare seeds, seedlings/plants, top soil, or compost, we would be very grateful for your support.

Every little bit helps and will go towards creating a space where the group can learn about growing food, caring for plants, and enjoying nature. 🌻
