Last week we collected lots of sticks, pine cones and leaves from our park ready to make our bug hotels. Today we visited Carlton marshes looking for lots of wildlife, we saw some dragon flies, daddy long legs and a big rain beetle!
Today we made our bug hotels which the children were very proud of 😊
The children have really enjoyed spending lots of time outside exploring, talking and thinking about bugs habitats 🐞🐛🌾🌳

Today has been a really emotional day for me, I had to say good bye to one of my amazing Little Gem's and it broke my heart 😭 but I know she is so ready for school and she will be amazing!
It's the tough part of our job saying goodbye but I know I've been so lucky to be part of something special, I've watched this little one blossom and it's been such a pleasure ❤️

The children really enjoyed the garden and mini beast sensory tray today, they especially loved using the binoculars and the magnifine glasses to inspect closer, they even used the books to help identify the minibeasts 😊 we also did some finger gym activities to help strengthen our hands ✍️

It's been another busy week this week, we have welcomed some new Little Gem's to our gang 😻
I have made some sensory basket's for my new little ones and everyone has loved them 😊 lots of open ended play.
We have continued our spring theme by making some blossom trees and we used the internet to find some images for inspiration 🌸🌼
