Quality home-based childcare in Louth. Our names are Danica and Sally.

We are a mum and daughter team who work together as childminders. Danica has over 10 years experience within childcare and Sally worked as a childminder when her children were young. Sally also has 9 years of nursery experience and over 16 years of working in schools for children with additional needs. We now come together and run from Danica's home to create a loving, trustworthy and homely environment. We offer a nurturing and loving environment in the comfort of a home setting for babies and children from the age of 8 weeks old. Children can explore toys, activities and outdoor experiences. We also offer fun/ messy/ educational/ creative experiences to coincide with the Early Years Foundation Stage to ensure all children's needs and interests are met.

We’re doing our best at squeezing in some more sunny chalet days ☀️ the children just LOVE being at the beach.
Whilst we were there we found out that the Tour of Britain was coming through Sutton On Sea so we walked down to watch them cycling through and had a quick stop at the park afterwards. 🚴‍♂️ 🛝 🌊

Yesterday we headed to the ‘chicken shop’ 🐔for lunch and with the weather being so poor we took cover in the cinema to watch Paw Patrol : The Dino Movie 🦕 for a treat day to say goodbye and good luck to Thomas who is moving on to begin his school journey next week.
It’s been an absolute pleasure to be a part of Thomas’s Early Years journey. Watching him grow up into such a kind and caring little boy over the last nearly 4 years has been incredible. We know you’ll absolutely smash it at school 📚 ✏️ 🍎
And you’ll certainly be missed by us all. 🤗

Today we headed somewhere a little different. Oliver’s latest interest has been motorbikes so we packed the car up and headed to Cadwell park to watch a track day.
Oliver was mesmerised by the motorbikes and was so excited to see them riding around the track.
Thomas soon picked out his favourite blue bike with orange wheels so once the riders stopped for their lunch break we walked to the pits to see the bikes close up, lucky for Thomas we found his favourite and the very kind rider let him have a sit on the motorbike.
Freya loved being in the grandstand up high and gave the riders a round of applause for their ‘wheely’ over the mountain.
We picnicked at hall bends, collected some sticks and climbed a few trees.
What a lovely day out. 🏍️ 🌳 ☀️

Today is a big day, it marks 10 years of Pear Drops Childminding 🥳
It’s been an incredible 10 years and we’d like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for choosing us to take care of your wonderful children. Being able to care and watch your children growing up is amazing and to be able to have fun everyday, teach them new skills and be part of their early years journey is one hell of a privilege.
Thank you to all past, present and future families for picking us 🍐
