🐻 We had a wonderful time today with our friends, for our new starter's Teddy Bears Picnics. We enjoyed our tasty packed lunches, cuddled our toys, read stories, played some circle time games and sang songs. Well done everyone - we can't wait to see you all again in just two weeks time for more fun together. The teddies look like they may be ready for a rest until then... 🐻

There are changes to eligibility for free school meals, from September 2026.

Applications can be made via the Lincolnshire County Council website.

We would just like to help with any confusion with the website pages about uniform.
If you search uniform on tbe website, it gives two options - uniform and school uniform.
Please only use the Uniform option. The School uniform page is due to be deleted.

Year 5 had a superb day learning about animals, their habitats, favourite foods and how to handle them, with a visit from Animals UK.
All students were fantastic with some even facing their fears. Well done Year 5, the Year 5 Team are incredibly impressed with your attitudes and behaviour on the day.

🎉 WOW... YOU DID IT! 🎉

An incredible £2,800+ was raised at this year's Kidgate Academy Summer Fayre! 🥳

What a fantastic afternoon and evening it was, with smiles everywhere you looked. From the exciting raffles 🎟️ and delicious ice creams 🍦 to football fun ⚽, tasty refreshments ☕ and, of course... the staff in the stocks! 💦😂

Yes... Mrs Cook even took her turn in the stocks (all in the name of fundraising, of course! 😄).

A huge thank you to our amazing Friends of Kidgate, our wonderful staff, volunteers, local businesses who donated prizes, and every family who came along to support us. Events like this simply wouldn't happen without our fantastic school community.

Every penny raised will go straight back into providing even more opportunities and experiences for our children.

Thank you for making it such a memorable event – we can't wait to do it all again next year! 💙💛

🎉 Congratulations to Miss Johnson! 🎉

A huge congratulations to Miss Johnson on successfully completing her Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship here at Kidgate Academy! 👏

This is a fantastic achievement and reflects all of the hard work, commitment and enthusiasm she has shown throughout her apprenticeship. We are incredibly proud of everything she has accomplished.

A special thank you also goes to her wonderful mentors, Miss Morrow and Mrs Neal, for their guidance, encouragement and support along the way. Your time and expertise have played an important part in helping Miss Johnson achieve this milestone.

We are delighted that Miss Johnson will be continuing her journey with us and will be joining our Year 2 team next academic year.

Well done, Miss Johnson – we can't wait to see what you'll achieve next! 🌟💙
