Community, connection and collaboration!
Our second event this week saw us welcome Year 7 parents and carers into our brand-new school library for our Nibbles and Natter evening! 📚☕💬
This informal drop-in session provided a relaxed opportunity for families to meet our staff, get to know the academy setting and ask those valuable questions as their children continue their journey with us.

Community is one of our core values, and evenings like this are a wonderful way to bring that value to life. By opening our doors and creating opportunities for meaningful conversations, we can help families feel connected to academy life, build trust and ensure that everyone feels part of the journey as our Year 7 students settle into their new environment.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us! We look forward to many more opportunities to connect with our families throughout the year.

🏐 Netball – Final League Fixtures of the Term 🏐

A special shout-out to our Year 10 girls, who secured another fantastic win to finish 2nd in the Wolds Netball League! 👏

A brilliant achievement and a testament to their hard work and commitment over the last four years.

Our Year 8 girls continue to grow in confidence and get stronger each week, showing fantastic teamwork, resilience and determination. A team to watch for the future! 👀🏐

This week, we were delighted to welcome parents into the academy for the first of two events designed to strengthen the partnership between home and school.
Our first evening focused on Year 11, providing parents with an insight into the year ahead, practical revision tips and the opportunity to speak with external providers about further education pathways and the exciting opportunities available beyond Year 11.

One of our core values is Community, and we firmly believe that working together with families is key to helping every student reach their full potential. By sharing knowledge, offering guidance and building strong relationships between home and the academy, we can ensure our young people feel supported, confident and ready to succeed.

A huge thank you to all the parents, staff and external providers who joined us and helped make the evening such a positive and valuable experience.
