Today we explored a variety of exciting activities both indoors and outdoors, developing our fine and gross motor skills, creativity problem solving and imaginative play while learning alongside our friends.
In the tuff tray, we completed a colour matching activity by using tweezers to pick up coloured objects and place them into the matching coloured bowl. This activity encouraged colour recognition, hand-eye coordination, fine motor development, and strengthened our pincer grip.
During our art activity, we created our own pictures using a variety of different shapes. We practised our sticking skills, explored shape recognition, and used our creativity and imagination to design our own unique artwork.
Outside in the garden, we had lots of fun in the mud kitchen, mixing and creating our own mud potions. This encouraged imaginative play, communication, and cooperative play as we shared ideas with our friends.
