Loughton Valley Arts Centre LVAC provides Dance (Ballet, Tap, Modern & Contemporary), Music, Colourstrings and Speech & Drama Lessons for all ages and abilities in Milton Keynes.

LVAC is a friendly and welcoming place where Dance, Music and Speech & Drama lessons are offered for all ages from 2 year old beginners through to adults. We are based at The Grove School in Loughton but we offer lessons to anyone. Our Dance school offer RAD Ballet, ISTD Tap, Adult Tap, Contemporary and ISTD Modern lessons with the option to work towards examinations and performance opportunities

throughout the year. Our Music school offer individual lessons in Violin, Viola, Cello, Guitar (classical and electric), Clarinet, Recorder, Flute, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, p-Bone, p-Trumpet, Piano, Ukelele and Singing (Classical, Pop and Musical Theatre)

Colourstrings Kindergarten Classes are offered for children aged 1-6. These are group classes teaching the basic concepts of high/low,fast/slow, loud/soft whilst training the inner ear. Giving children the best understanding of music before taking up a musical instrument.Classes include singing, rhythm games, movement to music and playing tuned and untuned percussion. Our Speech & Drama school offers private and groups lessons (maximum 3) following the LAMDA syllabuses. For more information please contact us on 01908 690590 or [email protected].

Congratulations to all the Grove and External LVAC pupils who took part in Milton Keynes Festival of Dance, Speech and Music this year. We entered 89 children into 153 Music and Drama classes receiving some wonderful feedback and lots of medals. With the festival being online this year the children have all done exceptionally well recording their pieces at home. A special well done to Bella McCall who received a medal in all 5 classes she entered!

Wonderful to see so many LVAC pupils performing at MK Festival of Drama this weekend! We had 74 children taking part in 132 classes between them. Everyone performed with such confidence. Well done to all our pupils!
