📣Join us for our first Burton Symposia of the year!📚 The Burton Symposia is a series of talks designed to spotlight themes that delve deeper than the curriculum. The university-style lectures are open to our pupils, staff and members of the wider community, encouraging listeners to broaden their knowledge and absorb perspectives they may not normally encounter.

Our first speaker is Professor Andrew Thompson, who, being a Loughborough Grammar alum, is a leading academic and adviser on international humanitarian policy🌍

Professor Thompson will lead a discussion that will explore the future role of the United Nations at a time when humanitarian intervention, global governance and international cooperation are under increasing pressure.

You won't want to miss out on this incredible opportunity! Click here to book your ticket for Monday 12 October👉 lborogrammar.org/events/the-burton-symposia-professor-andrew-thompson-lgs-1986/

Which authors inspire our Librarians?

To celebrate the national , we asked our three Librarians which authors have inspired them to read! Loughborough Grammar 🤝 Christ's College

We were delighted to welcome to our campus yesterday as part of their football tour⚽

The pupils were given a guided tour of the School by our Sixth Form students before enjoying lunch together, as well as a joint assembly alongside the whole school. During the assembly, pupils from Christ's College performed their school Haka - a traditional dance symbolising respect and honour.

The visit, which was organised through Loughborough Schools Foundation's Chair of Governors' connection to Christ's College having previously served as Headmaster there, concluded with exciting football fixtures, where both teams demonstrated fantastic football skills and teamwork.

We were honoured to be part of Christ's College's football tour and wish them an incredible time for the rest of their trip!
