Meet The Team!

To start the new year, we are delighted to welcome to the team at MLC Loughborough, Mark Briggs who joins us as our Piano teacher, and will initially be working in some of the schools we are in partnership with.

A graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music BA(Hons), Mark also brings a wealth of teaching experience, and performance experience, including performing with James Last, Tony Bennett, Michael Ball, and many others. Mark has also worked for Yamaha, programming the software for a range of their electronic pianos.

We’ve had lots of referrals recently 🙏 Current students and parents, don’t forget, if one of your friends signs up for lessons at the MLC you will receive an additional lesson free of charge. All they need to do is mention you when signing up and we will ensure that the refer a friend offer is applied.

Calling all local Music Teachers, Schools, Hubs and anyone interested in Graded Music Exams. This Friday (16th Sept), we’ll be joined by our friends from as we host the next leg of their .

The session will provide an overview of the benchmarks used in creating RSL Awards’ Instrumental and Vocal exams from Beginner to Advanced and which are the most efficient ways to support your delivery of RSL Graded Music Exams. The sessions will also be an opportunity to meet with colleagues and discuss different approaches to delivery.
The session will also include insight into RSL’s latest syllabus developments (Group Exams, Classical Guitar and their Certificate in Supporting Learning in the Classroom).

The event will be held in Nottingham city centre, 1-4pm and is free to attend. Places are limited so DM us to book your seat!
