Imagine getting the chance to stand on the bridge of the HMS Prince of Wales!

Nine of our Navy CCF cadets had an unforgettable day in Portsmouth, where they were given the rare privilege of touring one of the UK’s most advanced aircraft carriers.
The experience included visits to the hangar, flight deck, ward rooms, and both junior and senior rates accommodations. They also explored the gym and ascended to the ship's bridge. They observed weapon construction areas and housing and saw an F35 in situ.
It was a fantastic opportunity to gain a first-hand insight into naval operations and experience the sheer scale of this remarkable ship. As you can imagine, there was plenty of excitement throughout the day. What an experience for our cadets!
