Germany 2025! We are home. 41 musicians, 4 staff, 2 drivers, 3 concerts and 2,700 km travelled! It's been a blast! Happy summer everyone!

And just like that, our third and final concert of the tour is over. Following a beautiful day in Heidelberg, we headed to Bad Mergentheim to a stunning concert hall and a very appreciative audience! Home tomorrow! Thank you Germany!

Concert 2 done in our twin town of Schwabisch Hall. A pleasure to share the stage with the local Gitarren Quartett der Musikschule Schwabisch Hall. Our last full day here tomorrow!

Concert no.1 underway!

Germany Tour - A long 22 hour day, and we've made it safe and sound to Heilbronn, our base for the next 4 days!

Leaver's Lunchtime Live! It's that sad time of year where we start to say farewell to our senior musicians - some who have been on campus for 14 years! As usual from this gang - some wonderful performances. We wish you all the best for the future and keep making the music!

The Briggs String Quartet were delighted to support All Saints with Holy Trinity Parish church last weekend. The quartet along with LSF Tabla teacher Mr Singh and Head of Strings Mrs Burns took part in some East West collaboration as part of All Saints Intercultural schools and community art project and exhibition. A delicious curry was served afterwards provided by local restaurant, Everest Lounge.

Our final 'open' Lunchtime Live of the year featured Percs 2 today, followed by some great solo work. Join us next week at the earlier time of 13.30 for our 'Leaver's' Concert.

Our termly LAS Sound Bites was a great concert, featuring vocal, piano, violin, drum kit and bassoon solos all topped off with a sneak preview of the forthcoming production!

On Monday, our Junior Chamber Choir travelled to Southwell to sing Evensong alongside the choristers of Southwell Minster . They rose to the challenge of some very demanding repertoire and contributed to an incredibly hearty sound produced by the combined choirs. A magnificent service that was enjoyed by all!

With some of the department en route to London for the Coach House Pianos concert tonight, today's Lunchtime Live was short, but very sweet - including a world premiere performance of Alastair's new piece for guitar. Well done all!
