TinyTalkLoughborough Learn how to communicate with your baby before they can talk whilst having lots of fun and a brew!

At TinyTalk we believe that sign language encourages early communication. To understand and to be understood is fundamental to our well-being and our sense of self. Signing provides a way of introducing language to pre-verbal children, enabling them to make a sense of the world. This early and explicit start in language development also helps early speech. We learn a few BSL signs each week on a theme such as meals or bedtime or the park then sign along to lots of fun nursery rhymes. Babies & toddlers love the music, actions, puppets, toys, instruments and books. Parents & grandparents love learning something new to help them communicate with their babies before they can talk and everyone loves the social time with a cuppa and bikkie or two! The classes are really welcoming and fun and when your baby starts signing that they want their milk or has seen a bird it is absolutely amazing. Do come along and join the fun at classes in Loughborough, Quorn & Woodhouse Eaves. Baby classes are suitable from birth to around 12 months or walking. Toddler classes are suitable from around 12-14 months - school age and focus on developing speech and language skills supported by signing. Another lovely Thursday in Quorn today ⭐️

We got dressed for a cold 🥶 day in baby 👶🏻 classes and went into the garden 🪴 to find some animals 🕷️ in toddlers.

In baby classes I have a new signer! Little Matilda has made her first sign for ‘milk’ 👍. I also gave Arthur his first sign certificate 👏. And Reuben has 2 new signs 🥶 taking him up to 11 signs! Yay 🙌

In toddlers I gave Hazel her 10th sign certificate 🎉. Plus more new signs include monkey 🙊 from Oscar 🤭. Tree 🌲 from Ayden.
And Lilly is singing the TinyTalk welcome song. Plus sooo many new words ⭐️

And we sang happy birthday to Emily and Wilbur today 🎂

A wonderful Wednesday in Woodhouse Eaves today! Soo much fun 🤩

More getting dressed for a cold 🥶 day in baby classes. We put on ours hats 🧢 and coats 🧥, watched the rain ☔️ fall. Counted the fish 🐠 and lots more!

I have a new signer too! Little Betsy has made her first sign for ‘milk’ 👏

In toddler we found some animals in the garden 🦔🐿️ 🕷️. We saw the monkeys in the tall tree 🌲. Waved our ribbons, shook our shakers and saw a butterfly 🦋. Plus more!

I gave Jesse his 5th sign certificate 👏. Luca his 10th! 🎉 and Ebon his first sign certificate 👍

More new signs include dangerous and stop 🛑 from Oscar taking him up to 10! Also stop ✋ from Evie. Colours from Alice. Bath 🛁 from Lennon. ‘Where’ from Margot and Grayson is singing a lot. Plus lots of words as always 👍.

And we sang happy birthday to Laura today too 🎂

A fun and busy start to the week in Quorn today!

In baby classes we got dressed for a cold 🥶 day. Its rained ☔️ but the sun ☀️put his hat 👒 on. We went on a bear 🐻 hunt through the elements plus lots more!

Aria is now also signing dog 🐶 and Ezra has made his first sign for ‘milk’ 👏. And we sang happy birthday to Beckie today too 🎂

In toddler we doing some animals in the garden 🪴 🐿️. The frogs 🐸 went mmmm, we saw a butterfly 🦋 and we rang our bells 🔔

More new signs include squirrel 🐿️ and octopus 🐙 from Riva. Sleep 💤 from Riley taking her up to 10! 🎉 . Friend from Toby. Theo is doing lots more signs more regulaly. Plus lots of words as always 👍.

A great Thursday busy Wednesday in Quorn today. More recapping but lots of fun activities. We danced on a Saturday night, rowed our boats 🚣, shared the ball in toddlers, shook our shakers and lots more!

In baby classes I have a new signer! Arthur has made his first sign for ‘more’ 🙌. And Reuben has two new signs taking him up to 9!! Woo hoo! 🎉

More new toddler signs include dinosaur 🦕 from Oscar. ‘Who’ and ‘what’ from Luca. Rain 🌧️ from Ayden. And Hazel has lots of new signs and is now up to 10 signs! 👍 Plus lots of new words too from everyone 👍

A busy Wednesday in Woodhouse Eaves today. More recapping but lots of fun activities. We rowed our boats 🚣, played hide and seek in toddlers, shook our shakers and did lots of dancing!! lol.

In baby classes we sang a belated happy birthday to Sophie 🎂. And in toddlers we sang happy birthday to Oscar 🎂

More new toddler signs include thank you from younger Maeve. Luca has lots of new signs including swimming taking him up to 10 plus lots of words 🙌. Bath 🛁 and all done from Lennon. Sad and wait from Hadley. Grayson is counting to 10. And Jesse is up to 5 signs at 12 months! ⭐️. Colours from Seb. Boy & girl and some Portuguese from Alice. Plus lots of new words too from everyone 👍

A great Monday in Quorn today.
We had recap week today so we went over our signs from the last two weeks and read a signed story book 📚too.

In toddler classes I gave Avaani her 10th sign certificate 🥳. Holly her 75th sign certificate 👏. And Logan his 💯 super signers certificate! Wow, amazing 🤩.

Plus new signs include crab 🦀 from Archie. Green from Riva. Turtle 🐢 from Holly. Brother, sister, doll and inside from Tova. Aeroplane ✈️ and helicopter 🚁 from Noah. Black from Ciaran and he’s saying brother and sister. And he’s using over 200 words!! 🔥. Monkey 🙊, strawberry 🍓 and fish 🐠 from Logan.

And In baby classes I gave Nivaan his first sign certificate 👍

A lovely 2nd Thursday of the Autumn term back in Quorn today 🙌.

More family signs in baby classes and indoor toys in toddlers.

In baby classes I gave Nivaan and Ivy their first sign certificates 👏. And Reuben was signing away in class today (he signed Daddy for everyone to see and noisy I think it was - his new one). Amazing 🤩.

In toddler talk classes I gave Benjamin his 10th sign certificate 👍. Hazel and Oscar their 5th sign certificates ⭐️. And Cleo her first sign certificate 👏. Plus more new signs include singing 🎵 from big Oscar. Rain 🌧️ from Noah. And Fantastic from Orson. Plus lots of words from everyone ⭐️. And we sang happy birthday to Jenson today 🍰

A fun 2nd Wednesday of the Autumn term in Woodhouse Eaves today 🙌.

In baby classes we learnt family signs. We went swimming with the ducks 🦆, played peekaboo, marched up the hill and lots more!
I gave Monty his first sign certificate 👍. And we sang happy birthday to Sophie today 🍰 (need to get the other Sophie next week!!),

In toddler talk classes we looked at toys 🧸 that we can play with inside the house 🏡. We played with the building blocks, drove our toy cars 🚗 and lots more!

I gave Evie, Gabriele & Cora their 5th sign certificates👏. Baby brother Seth his first sign certificate 👏. Plus more new signs include play from Hadley. ‘Wait’ from Bonnie. Plus lots of words. Well done everyone ⭐️
And we sang happy birthday to Kate & Olive today 🎂.

A fabulous 2nd Monday of the Autumn term in Quorn today 🙌.

We met the family in baby classes. We went swimming with the ducks 🦆, jumped on the bed 🛌 with the monkeys 🙊 and went on a bear 🐻 hunt. Plus lots more!

I have a new signer too! Lottie Finn has made his first sign for ‘milk’ 👏. And Montague has made his 2nd sign for ‘more’ 👍.

In toddler talk classes we looked at toys 🧸 that we can play with inside the house 🏡. We played with the building blocks, drove our toy cars 🚗 and lots more!

I gave Riley her 5th sign certificate 👏. And baby sister Tilly her first certificate for signing ‘milk’ at just 7 weeks old! Woo hoo! ⭐️. Plus Avaani is now up to 10 signs now 🙌 with her latest being 🧀. And Logan is up to 💯 yes 100 (well 101 actually) signs at just 17 months! Wow 🤩. His latest being train 🚂. Holly is up to 75 🎉too. Other new signs include strawberry 🍓 and orange from Riva. Dancing 💃 from Tova. Glasses 👓 and kiss 😘 from Ciaran. Plus new words from everyone 🥳. Amazing, well done.

And we sang happy birthday to Lucy today 🎂.
