Pre-School Sports Day! 🏅
Yesterday was sports day so we celebrated by doing some races in the garden!
We set up a course with the hurdles in the garden and explained to the children that we take it in turns and we run then jump the hurdle and then run and jump again! The children had lots of fun and enjoyed taking it in turns and jumping high over the hurdle😀

✨🏖️ Loughborough By The Sea 🏖️✨ - pre school enjoyed a sunny walk to the seaside this morning! We used our bodies to explore the sand by running, jumping and sitting in the sand, as well as letting it run through our little hands. So much fun had by everyone ✨

💗😊🏅Rainbow Room Sports Day 2026 💗😊🏅
Rainbow Room enjoyed all the sports day events: egg and spoon race, balancing bean bags on our heads, races, balancing and throwing bean bags into the hoops.
We celebrated our achievements with a medal, well done for showing such a can-do attitude Rainbow Room! You all did amazing 🌈 😁

Today Sunshine room 🌞 did our own sports day by doing a egg race with some children holding on to their eggs 😆. We also did a small obstacle course jumping on the coloured circles and climbing over, rolling on and jumping off the soft play.

🪥🦷 Dentist Role-Play 🦷🪥

Giving preschooler the tools to build confidence, ‘practice’ real checkups, and teach healthy habits. By pretending to look at teeth or use toy tools, children learn what to expect in a fun way!

Rainbow Rooms visit to Loughborough by the sea 🌊 💙 ✨️
The children enjoyed going to the "Seaside" ❤️ We even got a special balloon animal to take back to nursery with us! 😍

🚜🚧 Pre school construction 🚧🚜

We have had a lot of children interested in cars and making car ramps, so today we furthered that interest by adding crushed up cereals into play to create a construction tuff tray for the children to explore. We added different trucks, diggers, helicopters, tractors and made a very long ramp for the vehicles to travel up and down. We explored the different textures of the tuff tray and enjoyed listening to the sounds of the cereals crunching 🚜🚧

✨🐘 the pre-schoolers are being creative with playdough for ‘elephant day’ 🐘✨

In Sunshine room we continued to extend on the childrens interest in rocket ships🚀 we played with our rocket we created yesterday and added it to our space station on the moon 🌙 children enjoyed exploring the homemade moon sand as well as identifying some of the objects we could see 😋 we ended the activity by singing "we're going in a rockey ship" 🤗

We have such beautiful spaces so close by to us, we are very lucky ❤️
The children in Rainbow Room and Sunshine Room enjoyed feeding the swans and the ducks with oats! Then we spotted a blackberry bush, our favourite yum yum! 😋✨️
