Belton Playgroup

Belton Playgroup We are a small village run playgroup in North West Leicestershire. And for older children you can come to After school Club for more fun.

Our aim is to provide a warm and caring environment to stimulate children and encourage them to learn and develop through play. Belton Playgroupis a popular and fun place to be when you are 18 months to nearly 5 years old. We have lots of exciting things to do from crafts, loose parts, physical play to small world and imagintive play. We even get to go out and about on our Fun Filled Friday sessions. No two days are the same and the best thing is we learn through play. We learn how to get on with our friends, how to be independent, how to work things out for ourselves and to be ready for school. If you are 18 months to 11 years old and want to have an amazing time, Belton Playgroup is the place to be!!

There are lots of different Autumn textures including, leaves, pine cones and conkers. We can roll, cut and press the playdough. There will be Autumn crafts and pictures. This week our mathematics is measure, there are lots of objects to weigh and measure . If you have collected any natural objects on your walk please bring them in to share. 🍂🍁 Word of the week is 'Autumnal'.

Lauren and Leah have set up this week. We have a shop where the children can buy items and discuss how much things cost. A ball pit and click clack cars. The balance beam and climbing frame for them to explore. We have the happyland out with a little fair ride to encourage conversation about experiences. The Duplo to build towers and practice counting. The fuzzy felts for the children to dress the people and create their own scenes.
Our book of the week is The Runaway Pea and our word of the week is Groceries
