Applications are now open for the Young People Physical Activity & Sport Hardship Fund 2026/27! 📣

Active Together is supporting young people across Leicestershire, Leicester & Rutland who face financial barriers to taking part in sport and physical activity.

The Fund can support young people as:
✅ Participants
✅ Coaches
✅ Officials
✅ Volunteers
✅ Talented sportspeople

Funding may be used towards kit and equipment, membership fees, coaching courses, travel costs, competition fees and more.

Young people should be aged between 7-18 years old (or up to 25 with SEND).

Across Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland, clubs are finding great ways to give kit a second life through donations, swaps, recycling initiatives and creative reuse.

We're looking for examples of what local clubs are already doing to reduce waste and improve access to sport.
