The first OLCS DofE expedition took place 40 years ago in 1986. Since then, there have been many bronze, silver and gold walks taking place 🚶♀️🏕️
Take a look at some photos and extracts from the log book of the many memories that were made: https://lsf.org/blog/2026/04/28/40-years-since-the-first-olcs-dofe-expedition/

We had a wonderful day on Saturday with the Class of 2015 OLCS alumnae for their 10-Year Reunion. The girls had the opportunity to look around their old school, followed by a few drinks 🥂

While exploring the OLCS archives, we came across this photo which was provided by alumni:
‘This photograph shows the whole of Our Lady’s Convent School circa 1909 - just 13 pupils! The two teachers are standing on the back row. Florence Helen and Margaret Gertrude Antill (seated front row on the left) were pupils of the school until they were 15 years old. Margaret was Ann’s grandmother and Josephine’s great-grandmother. Also in the photograph, the only boy pupil at the time, Reg Hammond, who later became well known throughout Loughborough as a local builder.’

Bookings are now open for our OLCS/LAS Alumni Event!
Following lengthy discussions with the OLCS Alumni Committee, we have decided to offer two time slots:
Morning session: 10:30am-2:00pm
Afternoon session: 2:30pm-6:00pm
We have suggested that class years 1950-1999 attend the morning session, and class years 2000-2024 attend the afternoon session so that you are able to meet with friends and those in similar years. However, this is not fixed, so feel free to join us for the session that is most convenient for you.
PLEASE ONLY BOOK ONE SESSION.
We look forward to welcoming you back for an opportunity to visit the School before it closes its doors.
