🥇 Gold — Men’s 100m T38
Thomas celebrated his Commonwealth Games debut by winning the title in a season-best 11.11 seconds.

Sophie Hahn — England
🥇 Gold — Women’s 100m T38
🥈 Silver — Women’s 200m T38
Sophie completed an outstanding Games with two medals across the T38 sprint programme.

Zac Shaw — England
🥇 Gold — Men’s 100m T12
Zac stormed to the Commonwealth title in 10.89 seconds, dedicating the emotional victory to his late mother.

Olivia Breen — Wales
🥈 Silver — Women’s 100m T38
🥇 Gold — Women’s T38 Long Jump
Wales team captain Olivia won her second medal of the Games by taking long-jump gold with a Commonwealth Games record of 5.09m.

Emily Newnham — England
🥈 Silver — Women’s 400m Hurdles
Emily clocked 54.04 seconds, finishing just four hundredths of a second behind the champion in her first Commonwealth Games.

Owen Heard — England
🥉 Bronze — Men’s Pole Vault
Owen cleared 5.70m to secure his first Commonwealth Games medal.

Oliver Morgan — England
🥈 Silver — Men’s 4×100m Freestyle Relay
🥈 Silver — Men’s 50m Backstroke
🥈 Silver — Men’s 200m Backstroke
🥈 Silver — Men’s 100m Backstroke
🥈 Silver — Men’s 4×100m Medley Relay

Oliver enjoyed a remarkable Commonwealth debut, collecting five silver medals across the individual backstroke programme and England’s relay teams. His 50m silver came in 24.48, while he recorded 1:56.44 in the 200m backstroke.

Jacob contributed in both finals and heats to earn four relay silver medals.

Luke Greenbank — England
🥉 Bronze — Men’s 200m Backstroke

Luke earned his first individual Commonwealth medal with a 1:56.58 swim in the 200m backstroke before contributing to England’s medley-relay silver.

William Ellard — England
🥇 Gold — Men’s S14 200m Freestyle

Will became Commonwealth champion in a Games-record 1:51.66, producing one of England’s standout para-swimming performances.

Freya Colbert — England
🥈 Silver — Women’s 4×100m Freestyle Relay
🥈 Silver — Mixed 4×100m Freestyle Relay
🥈 Silver — Women’s 4×200m Freestyle Relay

Freya collected three relay silver medals, racing in each of England’s medal-winning quartets.

Abbie earned three relay silver medals, including medals for her contributions during the qualifying heats.

Angharad Evans — Scotland
🥇 Gold — Women’s 100m Breaststroke

🥉 Bronze — Mixed 4×100m Medley Relay
🥈 Silver — Women’s 4×100m Medley Relay

Angharad enjoyed an exceptional Commonwealth debut, winning both individual breaststroke titles and adding two relay medals. Team Scotland records confirm her 100m and 200m breaststroke golds.

Boxing

Chantelle Reid — England
🥈 Silver — Women’s 70kg

Chantelle reached the Commonwealth final on her Games debut following a unanimous 5–0 semi-final victory, before finishing with a richly deserved silver medal.

Basketball and wheelchair basketball

Jamell Anderson — England
🥇 Gold — Men’s 3×3 Basketball

Jamell helped England become Commonwealth champions in the men’s 3×3 competition, adding another major title to his outstanding career.

Lucy Robinson — England
🥇 Gold — Women’s 3×3 Wheelchair Basketball

Lucy became a Commonwealth champion on her Games debut as England secured the women’s wheelchair 3×3 title.

Kyle Jimenez — Scotland
🥉 Bronze — Men’s 3×3 Basketball

Kyle helped Scotland secure bronze following a dramatic tournament that included his memorable buzzer-beating shot to reach the medal matches.

Netball

Brie Grierson — Jamaica
🥈 Silver — Women’s Netball

Brie played at wing attack during Jamaica’s run to the Commonwealth final, where the Sunshine Girls finished runners-up to New Zealand.

Rhea Dixon — Jamaica
🥈 Silver — Women’s Netball

Rhea was part of Jamaica’s silver medal-winning squad and contributed during the tournament as the Sunshine Girls reached the gold-medal match.

From individual Commonwealth champions and Games-record performances to relay success and team-sport medals, Glasgow 2026 demonstrated the remarkable breadth of talent connected to Loughborough College Group.

Our athletes delivered medals across athletics, para-athletics, swimming, para-swimming, boxing, netball, 3×3 basketball and wheelchair basketball, representing four Commonwealth nations with pride and distinction.

The final achievement—9 gold, 23 silver and 4 bronze medals—reflects not only the talent and dedication of the athletes, but also the coaches, lecturers, support staff and programmes that have helped shape their journeys.

Congratulations to every medallist and to every Loughborough College Group athlete who competed in Glasgow.

Loughborough College finishes among the Commonwealth’s top ten 🏅

Glasgow 2026 delivered an extraordinary medal return for Loughborough College Group, with 19 students and alumni collecting 36 athlete medals across the ten days of competition:

That position would place the College Group above nations including:
