Congratulations to Dhruvi, winner of the Best Contributor Award for Maths at our 2025 FE Awards!

Despite finding maths challenging at times, Dhruvi's dedication, hard work and commitment to her studies helped her achieve outstanding success. She credits the support of her teachers, extra classes and revision sessions for helping her reach her goals.

After college, Dhruvi is hoping to head to the University of Leicester to study Medicine, combining her passion for Biology and Chemistry with her future career ambitions.

Her advice to future students?
"Keep on top of the work and enjoy your time here. It's only two years, so make the most of it!"

More Commonwealth Games medal success!

Congratulations to our athletes who have already secured places on the podium in Glasgow:

Emily Newnham - Silver Medal in the 400m Hurdles for England
Jamell Anderson - Gold Medal in 3x3 Basketball for England
Kyle Jimenez - Bronze Medal in 3x3 Basketball for Scotland
Luke Greenbank - Bronze Medal in the Men's 200m Backstroke for England

These achievements are a testament to the commitment, talent and resilience of our student-athletes and alumni. We couldn't be prouder of their performances.

33 past and present Loughborough College Group students will be competing at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow!

Representing nations and territories across the Commonwealth, our athletes will take part in a range of sports and parasports, including athletics, netball and swimming.

Among those selected are Paralympic champion Sophie Hahn, Olympic silver medallist Matthew Hudson-Smith, Ugandan netball star Mary Cholhok, and Isle of Man high jumper Regan Corrin.

We are immensely proud of every athlete who has earned their place on the international stage and of the coaches and staff who have supported them along the way.

Join us in wishing all 33 athletes the very best of luck as they compete over the coming days. We’ll be cheering them on from Loughborough! 💚👏
