It’s not Christmas until Malc says so…🎄🎅🏻☃️
We welcome the 1st December with the ceremonial addition of our Malcolm’s festive accessories, in this historic Anstey tradition. If you’re lucky enough to stop by the post room, you’ll see Malc has decorated it like Santas grotto, complete with Christmas carols playing and snow.

It’s Thanksgiving! You know what to do: Remember your roots 🌲 give thanks for your loot 🙏 and eat lots of food! 🍗

We would like to wish all of our American customers and colleagues a Happy Thanksgiving this weekend. What better time for us to tell you how grateful we are for all of you. 🤝⭐️

Anstey Wallpaper Company sends its deepest condolences to the Royal Family on the sad passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. We thank Her Majesty for being an inspiration to us for the last 70 years.

We have been busy preparing our first ever time capsule to be planted for next week’s momentous occasion of Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee👑🇬🇧 Here is a sneak peek of what we have collected from our archive and special history as a printing company in the UK👀🤗

We hope the future employees of Anstey will enjoy reading our colour mixing recipes cards, looking through our photos and watching our video showing all of the different print processes we are operating in 2022🏭 We have tried to encapsulate our company’s history right up to the present day, including business cards and even how much a roll of wallpaper costs in 2022📜🎞 A special thank you to Charlotte for the little guy Mr Fox 🦊 have you spotted him?

We aim to open the time capsule 5️⃣0️⃣ years from now in 2072, when some of our youngest emplyees will be 76 years old👴🏼⏰

This gem right here is Graham, our very own diamond geezer and Pre-Press Manager here at Anstey💎🏭 If you are lucky enough to work directly with Gray, then you will know he has the loudest most infectious laugh that can be heard across the whole site🗣🤣

Gray ensures that every single proofing cylinder and roller that comes to us is in pristine condition, ready to use and then archived safely in our vast cylinder store. He also oversees the day to day of everything that happens prior to bulk printing, this includes looking after inks and the proofing department for all conventional processes🦺💈

Gray also known as Tooney (a very original play on his surname) started working here in 1989 and he tells us he started with a full head of hair back then👨🏼‍🦲 He is one of many members of staff that have been here for over 3️⃣0️⃣ years, and we think the Anstey family have kept him young, despite the hair loss.

Gray can be found head to toe in his Lycra cycling over 20 miles to and from work everyday🚴🏻 He is also a die hard Leicester City fan, if you cut him open you’ll find blue running through his veins ⚽️💙🦊 and he loves to travel, the more holidays the better according to Gray✈️🗺

Hope you all had a lovely Easter break🐣💝🐰 We wanted to say a special thank you to our Senior Colourist Emily for hosting a fabulous Easter wreath making class for the site. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and an egg-cellent time was had by all🕊🌿🥚

For an early Easter treat we have been enjoying homemade doughnuts from our local Doughnotts bakery. We asked staff for a small ‘doughnation’ so that all proceeds can go straight to Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People 🌈 and we raised an a-glaze-ing £650 🍩💕 Thank you to Daz from Doughnotts and Hayley from Rainbows who joined us for the festivities and all of the team who made this possible✨

We also asked everyone to judge the entires in our Design Your Own Easter Egg competition. The site-wide competition initially started out for the children of staff. But with equally as many entries from the adults, we had to have two categories. Congratulations to Valentino and Caitlin for their egg-cellent entries👏🥚🖍
