✨ Welcome Maggie and Ciara! ✨

We're delighted to introduce our new Youth Ambassadors, Maggie and Ciara from Brookside Primary School.

Usually we appoint one Youth Ambassador each year, but after seeing their fundraising efforts, passion for helping others and commitment to their community, we simply couldn't choose between them!

The dynamic duo have already shown what amazing young people can achieve when they put their minds to something. In fact, Maggie has already kicked off their ambassador year by swimming across Rutland Water. What a superstar! 🏊‍♀️

We can't wait to see what Maggie and Ciara achieve over the next 12 months, and our Community Fundraiser Loren is especially excited to have two new sidekicks by her side. 🧡

We are so proud that Maggie and Ciara have been chosen as Framework ‘s Youth Patron for the coming year! To start her year off Maggie has decided to fundraise by swimming across Rutland Water (a nice relaxing start to the school holiday then!! 😅🏊‍♀️😴). 🎾 Recently, a group of our children were lucky enough to visit Wimbledon and experience Championship tennis live!

Watching some of the world’s best players in action and soaking up the incredible atmosphere made for a truly memorable day. There were plenty of smiles, lots of excitement and memories that will stay with them for years to come.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this amazing opportunity possible. Experiences like these really do inspire our children and create memories they’ll never forget. 🍓🎾💚

Is your child starting school in September 2027? Or are you looking for a school nursery place from September 2027? If so we are about to start our open sessions and we would love to meet you!

Our first session is 14th July at 9:30 and is open to all. If you can’t make that date then we would be very happy to see you on another date or, if they aren’t convenient, contact us to arrange and alternative time that suits you better.

There’s no need to book - just come along via our School Green entrance for 9:30. We look forward to seeing you!

We are absolutely thrilled to share that Brookside has achieved the School Games Platinum Mark Award for the 2025/26 academic year — an incredible accomplishment and the second time we have reached this outstanding standard!

The School Games Mark is a Government-led award, launched in 2012 and facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust, recognising schools for their commitment to developing sporting opportunities both within school and across the wider community. To be awarded Platinum again is a fantastic reflection of the passion, energy and dedication that runs through our school.

We could not be prouder of our pupils, whose enthusiasm for sport continues to shine. From enthusiastic participants to the young volunteers, leaders and officials who help organise and run events, every single one plays a vital role in our success.

Achieving this award means meeting high standards across participation, competition, workforce and clubs, and it is wonderful to see the continued commitment of our whole school community recognised in this way.

This is a truly special achievement for Brookside, and one we are incredibly proud to celebrate together.

Amazing work from this group of girls and their jewellery sale!

🌟Young Supporter Spotlight🌟

Maggie, Ciara, Florie, Thea, Grace & Phoebe are all pupils from Brookside Primary School, and last year they had an amazing idea to host a craft stall and sell their own homemade jewelry! 🫶💍

Maggie, aged 10, said "it felt really good, you know that you're doing something not for you but to help someone else. I really felt that I'd accomplished something worthwhile. I feel that Framework doesn't get as much support as some of the bigger charities".

Together they raised £419.60 to help end homelessness – WOW! Just goes to show what can be achieved when we join forces with each other 💞
