Lots of fun role-playing this week with our Pathfinders!π
Our Pathfinders have created a supermarket role-play area for their maths book of the month, 'Handa's Surprise'! This role-play shop allows the children to explore quantities, for example, by counting how many bananas or oranges they may have.πππ
They then had the opportunity to sort and organise the fruit and veg into different categories such as colour and size. The price tags on each item also helped the children become more familiar with number recognition and allow them to recite numbers in sequence!β

Congratulations to our new little graduates!π
Yesterday was our children's Nursery Graduation! For the oldest children at the Nursery, Graduation marks an incredible milestone as they prepare for life at big school. During their time here, they've grown in confidence, developed key social skills and built up a sense of emotional resilience that will help them to thrive as they continue their educational journey.
We wish them all the best for their next big steps into the world!

πβ¨ Storytime Magic at the Grammar School Library! β¨π
Children from our Pioneers Room and Kindergarten pupils from Fairfield enjoyed a wonderful visit to the Grammar School Library, where they were warmly welcomed by the Year 8 boys.
The children listened to a fantastic selection of stories, including The Lion Inside, Stick Man, Tiddler, and Tyrannosaurus Drip. Reading in small groups, the Year 8 boys did a brilliant job bringing the stories to life, keeping our young listeners thoroughly engaged from start to finish.
It was a joy to see the children listening so attentively and sharing such a special morning together. A huge thank you to Mrs Briers, Mrs Whitehead, and the Year 8 boys for their warm hospitality and for creating such a memorable experience.
ππ Inspiring a love of reading
