At Will & Netty's Childcare we are currently looking after children aged 2 yrs to 13 yrs. From the smallest to the biggest we're here to teach them about caring for the world and people around us. Please reach out to discuss any childcare needs you have.

I love that we can, as a home from home setting, get on with household jobs during the working day and have our little ones involved learning life skills.

Our sleeping arrangements have changed significantly since the DfE brought out the Safer Sleep guidelines. We will no longer be sleeping children outside in lay flat pushchairs, they will be tucked away in a quiet corner on a mat, with white noise, low lighting and whatever blankets are required. Thankfully our current sleepers have changed over beautifully 😍

This afternoon we were watching the dark clouds rolling in and noticed it was lighter lower down. Right after this it rained and we got umbrellas out.

We're very interested in nature at Will & Netty's so always talking about birds and insects, animals, weather etc. This week we picked an activity found on an email by Hygge in the Early Years back in January 2025 for the RSPB Big Garden Bird Watch. We followed this up with a video on YouTube kids showing us exotic birds in the wild.

We're looking at buying some new artificial grass to replace our old and flattened grass so we have some samples, which double up as a new resource!

We recently got some new felt pens for our younger children to use, they are the top choice over crayons and pencils so we got some more robust pens to try.
