Today, our Year 6 children had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Houses of Parliament. They enjoyed exploring both the House of Commons and the House of Lords, as well as the Robing Room, Westminster Hall and more! They learnt more about how Parliament works and developed their understanding of the British Values of democracy and the rule of law. A brilliant day of learning, exploring and making memories. We are so proud of how well the children represented our school!

Lime Class have been exploring the human skeleton and thinking about its important functions. The children filled rubber gloves and investigated what it might feel like to have no bones in their hands. They then added lolly sticks to create a simple skeleton and felt the difference immediately! This hands-on investigation helped the children understand how important our skeleton is for supporting our bodies, protecting our organs and helping us to move. High 5, Lime Class!

A few final pictures from the last morning of residential, where the children enjoyed high equilibrium and archery tag!

There has been plenty of fun, laughter and adventure, alongside lots of opportunities to show resilience, teamwork and courage. We are incredibly proud of how the children have challenged themselves, supported one another and embraced every experience.
