Our Play and Stay sessions are back next week! We look forward to welcoming new faces and catching up with familiar ones too. Everybody is welcome! Come along and take a look at what makes our Heptonstall community such a special place to grow and learn.

Welcome back!!

It has been SO lovely to see so many enthusiastic faces around school and so many children happy to be back.

We’ve loved welcoming our new Reception children, reconnecting with familiar faces and as a whole school, finishing the day together in an assembly all about ‘belonging’ - thinking about how we can make everyone feel welcome, valued and part of our Heptonstall family.

We have also been delighted to welcome Mrs Duffy and Mr Warren to our school community.

It really has been a lovely first day back and we’re so excited for the new school year ahead.

As another fantastic school year comes to a close, we'd like to take a moment to celebrate everything our pupils have achieved this year. We are SO proud of their progress, resilience and the many successes they have enjoyed, both in and out of the classroom. A huge thank you to our amazing staff for their dedication and hard work, and of course to our wonderful families for their continued support throughout the year. Together, we have a school community where our children can thrive - Heptonstall truly is one big, happy family.

We'd also like to wish our Year 6 pupils every success as they begin their next adventure. We know they have bright futures ahead and will always be part of our school community. Don't be strangers!

Have a wonderful summer everyone - we look forward to seeing you all again in September and welcoming our new Reception starters too!

Unfortunately there is no Stay and Play session tomorrow due to it being our final week of term.

We are looking forward to welcoming all of our younger members of the community and their grown-ups back to Stay and Play on Thursday 10th September!
